چکیده مقاله
1. Purpose: Cognitive Warfare is waged on the battlefield of the human mind. This paper explores Cognitive Warfare as a distinct domain impacting Command and Control (C2) through psychological, information, and social manipulation, targeting human intelligence and decision-making. The paper primarily focuses on the challenges posed by cognitive warfare in command and control application and the solutions thereof.

2. Research Method: A comprehensive analysis was conducted to assess Cognitive Warfare's implications on military operations, specifically at the operational and tactical levels. The research method primarily remains qualitative and data collection was undertaken through various resources available over open source and literature related to the topic.

3. Findings: Cognitive Warfare represents a paradigm shift in modern conflict, leveraging information, psychological and social manipulation to disrupt decision-making processes and undermine strategic objectives. Critical challenges include filtering excessive information in military networks, countering cognitive biases in decision-makers, and responding to dynamic influence operations. To strengthen C2 resilience, a multi-faceted framework is proposed.

4. Conclusion: After going through various resources and literature available over open source related to the topic, a total of four challenges were identified sub-divided into 25 parts; as well as a total of six key solutions have been recommended sub-divided into 30 parts. A few case studies have also been included to reinforce the design. The findings support further study on AI-enhanced decision-making systems, social network analysis, and cognitive bias mitigation to enhance national security.
